Transformed into a stylish and contemporary home, this two storied and generously proportioned Townhouse, positioned with panoramic views of beautiful Balmoral Beach, has been transformed from a tired rental property into a desirable property for permanent residence.
The bones of the Townhouse were very strong, but the floorplan required reconfiguration for improved flow. A timeless, stylish and effortless sensibility became the driving ambition of this design with a strong focus on the detail of interfaces between the architecture and our clients’ requirements. Monochromatic patterns partnered with exuberant finishes were used link the rooms and create interest and depth throughout.
Inspired by the views of varying depths of marine blues the joinery pays reference to this whilst the cabinetry hardware infers the coastal positioning.
Ultimately, the design cultivates a connection for the inhabitants, to be a place to gather and retreat from their busy daily lives.
